Na koniec warto wspomnieć o aktywności fizycznej, która odgrywa kluczową rolę w leczeniu ED, wspomagając zarówno mechanizmy naczyniowe, jak i neuromięśniowe odpowiedzialne za utrzymanie erekcji (5). Regularna aktywność aerobowa, taka jak bieganie czy pływanie, poprawia krążenie krwi poprzez zwiększenie elastyczności naczyń krwionośnych i redukcję czynników ryzyka, takich jak nadciśnienie czy miażdżyca, co sprzyja lepszemu napływowi krwi do prącia (37). Dodatkowo wzrost ogólnej kondycji fizycznej i poziomu testosteronu dzięki treningowi siłowemu wpływa pozytywnie na libido i funkcje seksualne, zapewniając wszechstronne wsparcie dla zdrowia seksualnego mężczyzn (38).
